Can we get through life?

Life can be hard. it can be death gripping. It can be depressing. when your going through life, it always seems like the wind is always against you, pushing you back; hard. Yet we still move on. why? why do some of us, just keep going? because we know we can fight it. That no matter what comes your way. you can fight it. you don't look back, because that can throw you off balance. It makes you remember the past. And that hurts. So you just keep going. head down, body leaning forward. You hide all emotion, and just walk stone face through the wind. The wind never stops. So you have to keep going, because if you stop, the wind will knock you down. So you keep walking and walking. How long? how long can you walk through the wind? How long can you fight the wind on your own?

Then you see a man, walking beside you. You didn't notice that before, because you weren't looking. But now you do see him, because you were looking. For you were looking if there was any hope, that this wind could die down. He was there, the whole time. You didn't know, but he was there beside you shouting your name through the wind. You were so caught up, in life, you didn't notice, your name being called. You want to stop and listen to what he is saying to you, but your afraid that if you do, the wind will push you down. Now you are getting tired. So tired. How long can you fight this wind? Then the man comes close to your ear, and for a sec. you open your ears to Listen. "Not without me you can't." he whispers it so silently. You cock your head to the side, and you see the man, his arms stretched out toward you. But you are stubborn and full of pride. you look back down and concentrate more on yourself, as the wind pushes you harder. " I can do it!" you cry out. But deep down, your questioning if you can do it. Now your week and now your steps are slower...then you whisper... "I can't do this anymore." as soon as those words are out, the man scopes you up into his arms. You lean your head into his shoulder, and he whispers in your ear, "don't worry, I got you." And he takes you the rest of the way. out of the storm and into the sun.
